This unit is specially registered with specially-sized U.S. Government license plates (not visible in the photo) and also seems to have been exempted from requiring front license plates, likely due to issues with placement and the decreased likelihood of public road usage. This unit was spotted in 2025 doing Independence Day duty in Wintergreen, Virginia.

This unit is a K9 SSV unit, the SSV was a formerly offered police trim for law enforcement agencies that came with civilian wheels, giving off less of an LEO look. This particular squad car seems to be outfitted with a Whelen Legacy lightbar. It also notably lacks a pushbar, spotted some time in 2025.
